Saturday, May 21st marks the first Annual May Art Fest presented by the Blue Pig Gallery from 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm. The event will take place downtown Palisade featuring Wine Bar from Red Fox Cellars; Burgers, Brats and Dogs from 357 Bar and Grill; Fresh Tamales from the Migrant Center; Scrumptious Pies from Palisade Pies; Live Music from Palmas Duo and much more. The Blue Pig Director, Kay Crane said, “The event highlights everything the community has to offer”.

This family friendly affair will offer kids the opportunity to create their own chalk art on the sidewalk or to work on a pottery project. Adults will enjoy meandering along the street and through the gallery chatting with artists as they work on oil paintings, watercolors, batiks, drawings, encaustics and pottery. Many of the local shops will stay open later for the event, too! We hope you’ll plan to stop by for a spring evening filled with art, food, wine, music and fun.

Live art demonstrations by Blue Pig Artists: Bob Martin, Susan Metzger, Kay Crane, Susan Delgalvis, Nancy Lewis, Gary Clapp, Wendy Videlock, Gina Grundemann, Cheri Isgreen, Vera Mulder, Tim Wedel, Ron Cloyd and more!
