With fanfare and red ribbons, members and staff of the Colorado Association for Viticulture and Enology (CAVE) welcomed guests into their new offices last Thursday afternoon, April 24. The newly remodeled building at 124 W. Third Street, once the home of the Palisade Tribune, has been brought into the 21st century by new owners David and Melinda Treadway.

CAVE Executive Director Cassidee Shull spoke briefly, announcing the dates of this year’s Colorado Mountain Winefest, presented by Alpine Bank, September 17 – 20. Shull displayed this year’s commemorative poster, “24 Hours of Happy,” and introduced artist Nancy Lewis. Local realtor John Sabal, also of the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, was the lucky winner of a signed copy of the poster.
