Spring is the perfect time to focus on you and your family’s health.  You can do just that by coming to the Grand Valley Health Fair, Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th at Two Rivers Convention Center, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  You’ll learn more about your health through free screenings, hands on activities for the whole family, including some fun ones for children!  You’ll find tips and resources on parenting, fitness, nutrition, relaxation, safety and more, all to focus on total health for all ages.

We’re introducing our new interactive round table Chat Sessions with a Medical Professional.  The Chat Sessions will cover topics you’re sure to find interesting with practical and helpful  information.   Medical professionals who will participate include: physicians, including sports medicine, pediatric, gastroenterology and family medicine Doctors along with registered dietitians; diabetes educators; nurse practitioners; pharmacists; and physical therapists.

Our free health screenings will include some of your favorite screenings, such Ask a Pharmacist, Foot Screening, Heart Disease Risk, Memory, Cholesterol and Oral Health to name a few of the many more to be at the fair including new ones.

We were pleased with your comments about last year’s fair and the number of you who attended our new fair at our new location, Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction.  We’re more centrally located with plenty of parking.  Thanks to Grand Valley Transit you can ride the bus free on both days, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm!   Just tell them, when you get on the bus at your bus stop, that you are going to the Grand Valley Health Fair and the ride is free!  Thanks to Grand Valley Transit for providing this helpful assistance for our valley residents.
