The Kimbrough Team at RE/Max 4000 and Chronos Builders recently finalized plans for a new subdivision in Palisade—the first in 11 years. Construction on the modern farmhouse style homes will begin in August 2018. The builders are inviting the community to help name the subdivision by submitting their votes at livingpalisade.com. Voters will be entered to win a $2,000 cash prize or $10,000 in free builder upgrades.
The new subdivision will fit into a segment of the real estate market that Palisade hasn’t had in years. In 2017, there were 667 single-family home building permits issued in Mesa County, a 39% increase over the previous year. Yet, only 10 of those permits were to build in the town of Palisade. Further, there were only 17 homes sold in Palisade in the last eight years that were built in 2010 or newer.
“There is a great demand for newer homes in Palisade and this subdivision will fill that need while still keeping the integrity of Palisade’s small town feel,” said Dave Kimbrough, Listing Specialist at The Kimbrough Team. “This is an opportunity for those who would like to live close to all Palisade has to offer. It’s right in the heart of wineries, biking trails and it’s close to the river front. We are thrilled to be part of this development.”
Voting for the new subdivision’s name will end March 25, 2018. Anyone interested in reserving a lot or receiving more information can sign-up for notifications at livingpalisade.com.
