Tickets are now on sale for the Sixth Annual Edesia: A Palisade Culinary, Wine and Spirits Adventure, to be held at the Wine Country Inn on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

With the theme of “Colorado Proud, Edesia coordinator Anne Tally looks forward to this year’s event, saying, “This is going to be a wonderful opportunity to sample the work prepared by an elite, talented cadre of local chefs who specialize in fresh, sustainable Colorado food. We want to celebrate the incredible resources and talent we have right here in the Grand Valley.”

Alpine Bank, the Wine Country Inn, and St. Mary’s Medical Center join a number of other local sponsors in presenting this year’s festival, benefitting the Marillac Clinic, which serves Medicaid, Medicare, uninsured and under-insured residents of the Grand Valley.

A VIP Luncheon will be held at the Wine Country Inn from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the main event, Edesia, from 2 to 6 p.m. Local culinary All Stars Griff Chiono, Chef/Entrepreneur; Brunella Gualerzi, Chef/Owner of Il Bistro Italino; Josh Niernberg, Chef/Owner of Bin 707 Foodbar, and Chefs Joshua Roberts and Michael Gonzales from No Coast Sushi will prepare custom cuisine for the VIP Luncheon and Chiono, Gualerzi and Niernberg will alternate demonstrating their skills in the Vintners’ House Suites during the afternoon at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.

Tickets for the yearly fundraiser for the Marillac Clinic are available for $75. Tickets for the VIP luncheon are also available for $125, which also includes admission to Edesia. They can be purchased at the Wine Country Inn, or by secure PayPal access at http://www.edesiapalisade.com.

Keeping with the local theme, musical guests are also from the Grand Valley. Keyboardist Mike Gazdak will entertain through the VIP luncheon, followed by jazz guitarist Steve Williams, folk singer/ guitarist Ken Dravis and country rock / blues performer Thomasina Russell playing at different locations throughout the resort from 2 to 6 p.m. Says Wine Country Inn General Manager Ian Kelly, “”We’re excited to have this lineup of such accomplished and popular artists. Live music definitely is an important element for any celebration, so we will have a lively party atmosphere.”
