  Pickleball: Whether new to the sport or looking for a group to play with, the Palisade Pickle-ballers welcome you to join them during their regular Winter play times.  Outdoor times are free, indoor play times the group asks for a donation to help cover the cost of their gym rental.  All outdoor times are weather permitting.

 Gentle Yoga: New to Thursdays, Teri Ciocco will offer Gentle Yoga every Thursday at 6:00 PM starting Jan 11.  Fees will remain the same, and Teri will honor Chi’s punch passes through the end of January.  Gentle Yoga is appropriate for seniors, anyone with limited mobility, injury, or anyone that prefers a gentle approach to yoga.

 TOTS PROGRAMS

 NZone Sports Junior Program (Ages 3-4): Tots can learn the basics of basketball through the six week junior league program, teaching the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball.  Participants will receive a t-shirt and end of the season awards.  The program will run every Saturday from Jan 20-Feb 24 at the Palisade gymnasium, times to be announced once all teams are formed. Early Bird Registration is $65.00, by Dec 30 or $75.00 after Dec 30th.  Register at http://nzonesports.com/gj/about-us.

 YOUTH PROGRAMS

 NZone Sports Winter Basketball League (Ages 5-14): Youth can play in a 6-week basketball league and practices and games are conveniently held one hour before the game.  All games are played on Saturdays, the league will run from Jan 20-Feb 24 at the Palisade Gymnasium.  Participants will receive a t-shirt and end of the season awards.  Early Bird Registration is $65.00, by Dec 30or $75.00 after Dec 30th.  Register at http://nzonesports.com/gj/about-us.

 Home School PE (Ages 6-12):  Whether a home school student or youth that are not on the D51 calendar, youth are invited to take amid-day break with active programs that will teach various sports skills, teamwork, leadership, and fitness.  The first session will start on Jan 12 and will focus on Basketball.  Program will run every Friday at 12:00 PM from Jan 12-Feb 2.  Registration is $26.00 per child, enroll by Jan 9th.

 Beginner Gymnastics (Ages 5-8):  Gymnastics will start up again at the Palisade Gym starting January 23.  Session 1 will run every Tuesday at 5:30 PM from Jan 23-Feb 13.  Registration is $26.00, enroll by Jan 17.

 Winter Swim Conditioning (Ages 7-17): Get ready for summer swim season with a 6 week winter swim program that will help current swim team members and perspective team members to condition for the competitive summer season.  The program will run Jan 25-Feb 28 at the Orchard Mesa Pool every Wednesday from 5:30 PM-6:40 PM.  All participants must be able to swim freestyle, backstroke, ands breaststroke, and be able to swim 50 yards continuously.  Registration is $44.00 per person and it includes pool admission for each day of class.

 ADULT PROGRAMS

 Gray Gourmet: Meet new friends or catch up with old friends each week at the Gray Gourmet meal, every Tuesday at the Palisade Community Center.  Doors open at 11:00 AM and the meal is served at 12:00 PM.  Participants are welcome to come at 11:30 AMfor dominoes or cards.  Advanced reservation is required, to reserve a seat call 243-9844 X1.  Dine with the Gray Gourmet on Jan 30th and learn about the Flora & Fauna of the Colorado National Monument.

 Adult Coloring: Need a creative escape?  Join us for Adult Coloring on Thursday, January 18 at 11:30 AM in the Rec Office by Town Hall.  Only $1.00 to participate and all supplies are included.  This is a great way to destress from the holidays and enjoy good company.  Cocoa and tea included.  RSVP by Jan 17.

 Rock Painting: Add some extra color to your garden or paint something fun for others to find with Rock Painting on Monday, January 29 at 10:00 AM in the Rec Office.  Registration is $4.00 person, light refreshments will be included.  RSVP by Jan 25.

 GET OUTDOORS (ADULTS)

 Snowshoe Outing: Start the New Year off in the snow with a snowshoe outing on the Grand Mesa on Tuesday, January 16 at the Mesa Lakes Shoreline Trail.  The group will meet at Palisade Town Hall at 8:50 AM and take the shuttle up to the Mesa.  Participants should bring their own gear, dress in warm boots, wear layers, pack water, snacks, and extra money for the cocoa stop on the return trip.  Registration is $5.00 per person, enroll by January 11th.  Dogs Welcome!  Register online at:https://www.sportsiteslabs.com/admin#GrpMg29411665-2a6f-4520-9018-03a974cd74bd4

 Morning Fitness Walk: Get outside and MOVE! Join us for a walk on Monday, Jan 22 at Connected Lakes.  The group will meet at8:30 AM at Palisade Town Hall and shuttle over to the Connected Lakes area.  Registration is $3.00 per person, RSVP by Jan 18.
