Throughout the Valley, libraries are asking for spare LEGO pieces.

Mesa County Public Library system is building a LEGO play space in each branch library.

“Clifton branch was the first to receive their Legos kit, and I want Palisade to get the next one,” Librarian Karen Maheux said recently.

Why not donate to the Palisade Library?

Currently,Central Library hosts its Lego Zone very third Friday of the month from 3-5 pm, but MCPL would love to expand Lego availability to its other locations.

Palisade needs one. Won’t you help?

Maheux will be happy to accept any Legos,
Duplos, or
Lego instruction books any time the library is open.

Bring any leftovers, spare pieces or boxes of new pieces to the Palisade library and let kids of all ages be creative with your old pieces.

Come on — Let go of those LEGOS. Help the kids play at the library.
