The Palisade Chamber of Commerce invites businesses and shoppers to take advantage of the 4th Annual American Express Shop Small Saturday, November 29.

A number of Palisade businesses participated last year and the number is growing this year. “That’s a benefit,” says Juliann Adams, executive director, “as more Palisade businesses appearing on the online Shop Small Map will be a draw for more shoppers.”

Adams added, “On the same day is our Art & Chocolate Walk, with downtown merchants holding specials and goodies for the shoppers to enjoy. Have your passport stamped at participating businesses and you could win a Holiday Gift Basket.” To promote Shop Small Saturday, local businesses will be handing out canvas bags to shoppers while supplies last.

Shop Small Saturday is a win win for shoppers and merchants. American Express is promoting the program to bring more customers to small hometown businesses which bring more tax revenue for your neighborhood which can mean better roads and more parks.
