Palisade Branch Library announces two major changes in its weekly hours of operation, effective July 8. New hours will be Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The library will close at 1 p.m. for lunch and reopen at 2 p.m each day. Saturday’s hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The library is closed on Sunday and Monday.

“This change will be for now on,” Librarian Karen Maheux said, not just for the summer. Patrons can continue their Summer Reading Program and join any scheduled events:

Tuesday, July 1

Special story time “The Amazing Amazon” with Diana at 10 a.m. Let’s Knit plus UFO’s meet at 9:30 a.m. –bring any needlework–sew, talk and enjoy camaraderie.

Thursday, July 3

Kids’ Movie Day at noon Help session at 1 p.m. for Palisade Writers Group members only.

The Palisade Writers Group meets at the library on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.. Interested writers are welcome to attend the regular meetings.

Don’t forget, Palisade Library hours change starting next week on Tuesday, July 8.
