The Palisade Branch Library will hold its annual Peach Festival book sale this Saturday, Aug. 16, starting at 9 a.m., “until either the buyers or our energy wanes,” Jill Delavan, said in an email. Delavan is a member of the Palisade Branch Library Auxiliary, which sponsors the sale.
“We will have many books for sale—fiction, nonfiction, children’s, mid-grader’s, teens, and large print,” she said.
“We will be set up at the Palisade Library in the back study room and the book store. Our prices are $.50 for paperbacks or 5/$2 and $1 for hard backs or 5/$4. All proceeds from the sale go to benefit the Palisade Branch Library.”
Delavan noted, “All the books have been donated throughout the year, so everything is profit. For further info, anyone can call the library at 464-7557.”
