Do you like to walk or ride your bike along the riverfront trail at Riverbend Park? Have you gotten to the end of the line and wished you could keep on going? Well this is your chance to tell the Riverfront Commission how you feel. The Riverfront Commission is asking for the community’s input on the Riverfront Trail by taking an online survey.

The Commission has been working for years to continue to develop the trail to create economic development as well as a healthier Mesa County. Last years Officials created a strategic plan that has helped them in those development goals, but now they want the community to help provide feedback. The Riverfront Commission has goals to continue to expand the trail and add more healthy outdoor activity options. It is the mission to have a cohesive trail that connects Palisade to Fruita. Can you imagine the boost this could give our businesses to have traffic off the riverfront trail.

The deadline to give your input is May 16th and the survey is online with only 15 questions. Just a few minutes of your time today can make a difference for years to come. Click here to begin your survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/riverfrontproject

The Riverfront Commission has announced the 2015 Concert Series. Tickets are now available at all City Market locations or you can “buy” them online at http://www.ticketswest.com/…/2015-colorado-riverfron…/29510/. If you have four or more people in your car, there is no parking fee. With less than four people in a car there is a $7 per car fee. All concerts are held at James M.Robb—Colorado River State Park in Fruita, CO.
